Antique Victorian Sardonyx shield signet ring

A rare Sardonyx shield signet ring set in 9ct gold.

The Sardonyx gemstone has been cut across the white band so that if it were engraved the red part of the stone would show through underneath. 

These types of signet rings are becoming increasingly rarer to source in excellent condition. 

UK size Q. A competent jeweller will be able to resize this within reason.
