Some of my happiest memories as a child were when I was helping my Great Grandmother polish her antique silverware. We would sit and chat for hours whilst we polished all her gorgeous pieces.
Each one with an individual story of how it ended up with my Great Grandmother, Dorothy.
My love of antiques didn’t stop there. When we used to go on family holidays to the South of
France, my father and I would trawl the local flea and antiques market for hidden gems. I remember how my late father was especially fond of Art Deco pieces.
Most little girls had wardrobes in their bedroom that were covered in ‘My Little Pony’ stickers and posters of Spice Girls, my wardrobe was a freestanding Edwardian wardrobe crafted from Mahogany.
My area of interest has always been the 18th and 19th century. I absolutely adore Gothic Revival
architecture so anything reflecting that period always captivates my heart and holds my attention.
Whilst most of the items I source will be of a certain age, there may be some Vintage pieces that I
believe to be of particular interest or too beautiful to leave behind. I will always source items that
are unique and responsibly sourced.
